Recent news:

We just finished our summer Horsemanship class with eight graduates completing levels 1, 2 and 3.  It was a wonderful experience to watch these kids grow from knowing very little about these animals to being able to manage their own horse and ride trails.  We are looking to begin our next class toward the beginning of September.  Call us for more details.  Click here to see pics!

We were blessed once again with the opportunity to attend Camp Hope.  Every year we look forward to this time because the kids are such an inspiration to us - showing so much drive, will power, strength, and faith.  Not one of the kids at camp would allow their sickness to defeat them.  One might think that these children don't have much to smile about or look forward to, but they are some of the happiest, fun-loving, and determined individuals you'll ever meet.   We had a great time together!  Click here to see pics!

We just joined the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce and had our ribbon cutting July 24.

KSN recently did a story on Healing Hearts Ranch http://www.ksn.com/news/kansasnews/27030544.html

New horse donation!  Tux is a 7 year-old injured equestrian jumper from Parker Colorado.  He is a German native and came to America as a 2 year-old.  He stands a monstrous 17.3 hands and rides incredibly smooth.  Tux is definitely a "gentle giant", and we look forward to his work with the kids!

The purpose of Healing Hearts Ranch is to address the specific needs of children and families who struggle with emotional and behavioral challenges.  Whether we are working with individuals or groups, we strive to create a safe environment that promotes emotional growth and healing.  We acknowledge that horses can help in the healing process, and we seek to give people opportunities to interact with horses, learn about them, and learn about themselves in the process.  Come by and visit us - we look forward to having you!

DIRECTIONS: We are located just south of Great Bend, KS, just minutes off of US Highway 281.  From US 281, go west at Hart's corner and continue to SE 1st Avenue and turn north.  Follow SE 1st Avenue one half mile to the end of the road.  We are located on the left.
